Make a list of the questions
you find people asking the most often about your
company and/or your products and services. Think
of the things you asked when you were exposed to
the products or services the very first first time.
What now seems obvious to you now, may not to a
beginner/first time customer.
Now write your answers down. Read them aloud or
have someone else read them back to you. Does the
wording sound natural? Is the answer simple and
concise? The FAQ section is very important. Your
internet store does not have a sales person ready
to answer questions or solve potential problems
with selection of products or services. Don't skip
over this section quickly. It can be a valuable
resource for your website visitors, answering questions
that a sales person would normally take care of,
if you were operating a brick and mortar store.
Keep a small notebook with you as you go about your
daily business. When someone asks a question or
requires assistance from you, write it down in your
notebook. Later, you can decide if you should update
your FAQS page with the new information.
